Enjoy a writing workshop in Fiji Islands, guided by internationally published novelist Linda Jaivin, who has written 5 novels, many short stories and a novella. The workshop is to be held at Daku Resort at picturesque Savusavu in Fiji's Vanua Levu island in the northern island group. Quaint and picturesque, Savusavu is popular with travellers as well as expatriate residents. Savusavu can be reached easily via a scenic light aircraft plane ride that passes over turquoise blue reefs on its way from Nadi International Airport; the journey is around 55 minutes. The accommodation at Daku Resort has Fijian style bures, all set in tropical gardens overlooking Savusavu Bay. Morning sessions are 3 hours duration and cover various techniques and skills for writing fiction. Each participant will have the opportunity of one 20-minute individual session with Linda Jaivin at some time during the week long course. Afternoons will be free for sightseeing, relaxing and/or writing!
