The FIHTA (Fiji Hotel Association) requests its hotel and resort members to switch off lighting for one hour in support of Earth Hour 2008 global movement on Saturday 29th March. To highlight Fiji's support of climate change.

Vodafone Western Open Golf Event
29 March 2008 - Nadi Airport Golf Club
Sponsored by Vodafone Fiji, the Nadi Airport Golf Club is the venue for the Western Open Golf tournament. This is schedule for Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 8am to 4 pm.

The Nadi Airport Golf Club is located in a scenic spot between the Nadi Bay foreshore and the International Airport.

Bonjour Fiji
28 March 2008 - 05 April 2008 - Various locations around Fiji
The Bonjour Fiji Festival will appeal to all francophiles. It includes displays of French arts such as wine tasting and bread tasting (French wine and French bread of course!), Guitare Masterclass, Noumea Guitare Quartet, Francophone Night and comic Arts Masterclass. There is a comic arts festival at the Suva City Library that lasts until April 5th, with free workshops and entertainments for all ages. At the Sofitel resort on Denarau island in Nadi, the Noumea Classical Quartet performed on April 1st. The festival was officially opened by the Ambassador of France to Fiji, Jean-Francois Bouffandeau, at the Alliance Francaise in Suva.
